The most important tests are:

1️⃣ CA125: It is one of the most well-known cancer markers for the diagnosis and monitoring of ovarian cancer.

2️⃣ Carcinoembryonic antigen, or CEA: A tumor marker often used in the diagnosis and monitoring of certain cancers, particularly colon cancer.

3️⃣ CA19-9: Mainly used in the diagnosis and monitoring of pancreatic cancer and other cancers, including bile duct, stomach and lung cancers.

4️⃣ Alpha-fetoprotein or AFP: Most commonly associated with liver cancer, but can also be used to diagnose and monitor other cancers, including testicular and ovarian cancers.

5️⃣ Prostate Specific Antigen or PSA: This is a protein produced by the prostate gland and elevated PSA levels can be a sign of prostate cancer or other conditions.
